Community & Recreational Supports
Inclusive community-based programs that help adults build friendships, explore interests and take part fully in community life across Guelph-Wellington.
Community participation
Building confidence, friendships and community connections.
Hopewell Connect helps adults living with developmental disabilities stay active, explore new interests and build meaningful relationships through inclusive community-based programs. From day supports and recreation to community connections, social activities and life skills, every experience is designed around each person's strengths, interests and goals.
As a fee-for-service program, Hopewell Connect offers flexible opportunities to participate without requiring Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) approval. Whether someone is looking to make new friends, try something different, or become more involved in their community, Hopewell Connect creates opportunities to build confidence, experience new things and enjoy a greater sense of belonging.

Hopewell Connect
Want to get out, make friends and try new things in your community? Hopewell Connect is for you.
Hopewell Connect gives adults living with a developmental disability real things to look forward to: fitness classes, art programs, evening social activities, daytime community supports, and learning & recreation, all built around friendship, confidence and connection.
Hopewell Connect is fee-for-service: you pay for what you book, and no government funding approval is needed to take part. Day supports are $125 a day, and each day has its own theme, so Wednesdays are $130 with swimming, Thursdays $135 with music, and Community Connections Fridays are $150. Evening programs are $80 a month for a four-week month, $100 when the month has a fifth week, and you sign up for the whole month. Early or late drop-off and 1:1 staffing cost extra. You will see the exact total before you commit. (Ask us about putting funding like Passport toward it.)
