Volunteer with us
Not looking for a job, but want to be part of this? Volunteers are woven into everything Hopewell does, and here's the part most people don't realize: you don't have to work directly with the people we support to make a real difference. There's a seat for every kind of helper.
Join in at camps, evening programs, Special Olympics and community outings: play games, cheer loudly, be a friend.
Prefer a quieter contribution? Our administrative office needs helpers too: reception, mailings, filing, data entry, and prepping materials for programs and events.
Help set up, decorate, greet, run a table or take photos at the celebrations and fundraisers that power everything else.
Photography, music, crafts, gardening, tech help: if you've got a talent, there's a program (or an office) that would love it.
Need community-involvement hours to graduate? Earn them somewhere they'll actually mean something. Whether you're helping at a camp, behind a desk, or at an event, we'll match you with something that fits your comfort level, sign off on your hours, and you might just find the thing you want to do with your life. (It's happened before, some of our leaders started exactly this way.)

Skilled work, properly supported
Supporting people well requires knowledge, sound judgment and the ability to adapt. Hopewell invests in training, clinical education, leadership development, recognition and tools so employees can adjust support as needs change, respond with confidence and grow in their careers.
You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team: nursing, behaviour therapy, clinical education and direct support. You'll never be expected to figure out a complex situation on your own.
