Anyone can tell us.

The person who helps you can tell us.
How do I tell you?
Pick the way that is easiest for you.
You can phone us. Call 519-836-9641.
You can email us. Email hr@hopewellsupport.ca.
You can talk to a staff member. A staff member is a person who works at Hopewell. Tell any staff member.
You can write us a letter. Send it to 381 Elmira Road North, Unit 1, Guelph, Ontario, N1K 1H3.
You can come and see us. We are at 381 Elmira Road North, Unit 1, Guelph.
We are open Monday to Friday. We are open from 9 in the morning to 5 in the evening.
You do not have to do this on your own. Someone can help you.
What happens next?
1. We listen.
We say thank you for telling us. We make sure we understand you.
2. We find out what happened.
A manager will find out what happened. A manager is a staff member who is in charge of a program.
The manager may ask you more questions.
3. We tell you what we found.
We will answer you in 3 days.
We count from the day you tell us. Weekends count too.
We answer you the same way you told us.
If you phoned us, we phone you back.
If you emailed us, we email you back.
Sometimes we need more than 3 days. Then we will tell you. We will say the day we will answer.
What if nobody answered me?
Did you tell us more than 3 days ago?
Did nobody answer you?
Call us at 519-836-9641.
Say this: "I told you about a problem. Nobody answered me."
We will find out what happened. This is not your fault.
What if I do not like the answer?
Please tell us first. We want to fix the problem.
You can ask our boss to look at your problem again.
Our boss is called the Chief Executive Officer.

You can tell someone outside Hopewell
There is a person who checks that services treat people fairly.
They are called the Ombudsman of Ontario.
The Ombudsman does not work for Hopewell.

The Ombudsman will usually ask you to tell Hopewell first. So please tell us first.
Will I get in trouble?
No. You will not get in trouble.
You will still get the same help from Hopewell.
We keep what you tell us private.
We only tell the staff who can fix the problem.
We are glad when you tell us. It helps us do better.
Words on this page
